Privacy Policy

1. Summary

Pill Reminder does not require an account and does not upload your medicine schedules, dosage information, or medical reports to Lyonsoft. The core app data is stored locally on your device.

The app may use analytics, advertising, notifications, and purchase services. These services are not used to read the medicine names, dosage, or report records stored in the local database.

2. Information stored on your device

• Medicine schedules: medicine names, dosage text, reminder times, start dates, active status, birth-control cycle settings, appearance choices, and selected medicine images.
• Medication reports: the medicine name snapshot, scheduled time, date, and whether a dose was marked taken or missed.
• App preferences: notification sound, theme or appearance settings, first-launch state, and other preferences.
• Notifications: reminder schedules are created through the operating system notification services and may update the app badge with pending reminders.

This information is stored using the app's local database and preferences. Deleting the app or clearing its local data removes the local records, subject to normal operating-system backup behavior.

3. Optional service providers

Analytics and messaging

Firebase Analytics may process screen views, app events, app instance information, device information, and basic performance signals. Firebase Cloud Messaging may process a device token and delivery information when messaging features are used. We configure analytics to track app usage and reliability, not the contents of your medicine records.

Advertising

Google Mobile Ads may process device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location, consent choices, and ad interaction data to show and measure ads. On iOS, the app requests permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework where required.

Purchases

If you buy Premium, the applicable app store and RevenueCat may process purchase receipts, an anonymous app identifier, product information, and entitlement status. Lyonsoft does not receive your full payment card number.

4. Permissions

Pill Reminder may request notification permission so it can remind you about scheduled doses. It may request photo-library access if you choose to add an image to a medicine. You can manage or revoke these permissions in your device settings.

5. Sharing and retention

We do not sell your medicine schedules, medical reports, or selected medicine images. Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app data, or uninstall the app. Analytics, advertising, messaging, and purchase providers retain their records under their own policies and applicable retention periods.

If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, attachments, and technical details that you choose to provide. Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain records, or resolve disputes.

6. Medical information disclaimer

Pill Reminder is a scheduling and record-keeping utility. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or provide medical advice. Do not rely on the app as a substitute for instructions from a qualified healthcare professional.
