Privacy Policy

1. Information processed by the app

• Photos and videos: media you select or make available for scanning, duplicate detection, cleanup, compression, saving, or Secret Space.
• Contacts: contact fields needed to display, find duplicates, identify missing information, merge records, create backups, or restore backups when you request those actions.
• Local app data: settings, points, purchase state, cleanup preferences, local backup files, compressed output references, and Secret Space data.
• Permission choices: whether you grant or limit Photos, Contacts, Camera, Microphone, and biometric access.

2. Local processing and storage

Phone Cleaner performs media scanning, duplicate comparison, compression, contact review, and Secret Space operations on your device. We do not upload your photo, video, contact, backup, passcode, or Secret Space content to LYONSOFT servers for these features.

Photos and videos deleted through the app are handled by the Photos framework and may remain in Apple's Recently Deleted album until the operating system removes them. Local app data can be removed by deleting it inside the app where supported or by uninstalling the app, subject to iOS/iPadOS backup and file-management behavior.

3. Permissions

Phone Cleaner requests access only when a feature needs it. Photos access supports scanning, saving compressed output, and confirmed deletion. Contacts access supports cleanup, merging, backup, and restore. Camera and microphone access are used only when you choose to add media to Secret Space. Biometric access helps unlock Secret Space on supported devices.

You can change these permissions in iOS or iPadOS Settings. If access is limited, the related feature may not be available or may scan only the items you selected.

4. Analytics and remote configuration

The app may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config. Analytics may process app events, app instance information, device and operating-system information, consent state, and basic performance signals to help us understand reliability and feature usage. Remote Config may receive technical app and device information so the app can receive settings such as point policies and feature configuration.

We do not send the contents of your photos, videos, contacts, backups, or Secret Space to these services as part of normal app-use measurement. The app requests tracking authorization before starting analytics that may use tracking identifiers. You can manage tracking and privacy choices in your device settings.

5. Purchases

Phone Cleaner offers Premium access through Apple's App Store using Apple StoreKit. Apple processes payment information and purchase transactions. We may receive purchase identifiers, product information, transaction status, and entitlement state needed to unlock or restore Premium. We do not receive your full payment card number.

6. Service providers

Apple provides the operating-system frameworks, Photos, Contacts, StoreKit, device permissions, and App Store services used by the app. Google Firebase provides Analytics and Remote Config services when enabled in the release. These providers process information under their own policies and the settings available on your device.

7. Children and retention

Phone Cleaner is a general utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the app. Local content remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or otherwise manage it through iOS/iPadOS. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain support records.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app, services, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and may communicate significant changes through the app or App Store release notes.
