Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Video Compressor, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The service

Video Compressor lets you import videos, adjust quality or resolution, compress one or more files, preview results, save or share outputs, and remove selected videos from your device. Features, supported platforms, and availability may change over time. The app is currently available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad; the Android version is in development and is not currently available for download from Google Play.

3. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of the videos and other media you process. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use, copy, compress, save, share, or delete that content. You give the app permission to access selected media only so it can provide the feature you request. Compression is designed to run locally on your device.

4. Purchases and advertising

Video Compressor may offer premium features, subscriptions, or other in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by the applicable app store and are subject to its terms, billing rules, renewal settings, and refund policies. The app may also display advertising. Premium entitlements and ad configuration may change as the product evolves.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the app to process content you do not have the right to use.
• Do not attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, abuse, or bypass the app's security, purchase, or advertising systems.
• Do not use the app in a way that violates applicable law or the terms of the platform from which you installed it.

6. Availability and disclaimers

The app is provided for personal utility use. We work to keep compression accurate and reliable, but output size, quality, speed, format compatibility, and available features can vary by device, source file, operating-system version, and available storage. The app is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when the app or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@lyonsoft.app.
